ROGER: I think it's the old man who is going mad.United financial problems have been exposed once again. how mad was he when he bought rooney for 29 mil at 18 isnt that abt the same value now.was anyone calling UEFA

MEDDY: Fergie was chasing him for about around the same amount or abit less, however i still think with all the talent paying that much for a player who is not that established is chaotic

GEOFF: It's just stupid that a player who has proved nothing is being overpriced. Fergie is right. And Roger you forget when Rooney was bought he was one of the prem's best players, and was STARTING for england, scoring along the way. He also carried England through the euros. I dont like England scapegoats for tournament exists but I completely agree that they were eliminated early because rooney got injured.

MEDDY: Geoff , moura is a well established player in brazil,he is just not a worldwide trademark yet,,fergie fergie paid huge for rooney,PSG paid huge for moura too

GEOFF:  I think we getting it wrong here!! A player like Moura at just 19 should have paid man utd to come play under Fergie lol!! Rooney had already established himself in world football by the time Utd got him!! Last year nobody knew who Moura was, he can't even get a starting place in the olympic team!! His wages and asking price are simply too high!! From the beginning, I felt like utd were going for the wrong brazilian! I'm happy we didn't buy him!! Neymar, Hulk, Oscar or Romulo are the players worth playing at old trafford for man utd!!
